Senior Learning Facilitator at Seven Counties

Heather Marcus, LCSW, is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in both clinical and educational settings. Currently serving as a Senior Learning Facilitator at Seven Counties Services since January 2018, Heather specializes in facilitating diverse training programs utilizing adult learning theory and interpersonal skills. Heather has been a part-time faculty member at the University of Louisville's Kent School of Social Work since August 2019, where instruction focuses on psycho-social-behavioral theories and social work principles. Previous roles include Intensive Outpatient Therapist at UofL Peace Hospital, Director of Recovery Services and Director of Social Services at Central State Hospital, and Clinical Supervisor at Wellspring. Heather holds a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree double majoring in Criminal Justice and Religious Studies from Indiana University Bloomington.
