Tonya Bordy has extensive experience in the social services field. From 2006 to 2012, they worked as an Adoption Specialist at Adoption Bridges of Kentucky, where they provided support and guidance to prospective adoptive parents. Their responsibilities included conducting home studies, post-placement visits, and facilitating an adoption support group. Since 2012, Tonya has been working at Centerstone Kentucky (formerly Seven Counties Services) as a Principal Case Manager for the Michelle P. Waiver program. In this role, they assist clients in administering and maintaining services.
Tonya Bordy has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Social Work from Mississippi State University. Tonya also holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Louisville. Additionally, they have obtained a certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
