Stephen Otremba

Stephen Otremba is a software engineer currently employed at Seven Eight Capital since September 2022. Previous experience includes roles as a graduate researcher at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, focusing on machine learning and optimization for professional baseball, and various positions with MIT Pokerbots, where Stephen served as a senior advisor, head instructor, and treasurer, overseeing sponsorship and tournament organization. Additional internships at Google involved developing machine learning model management services and open source integration tools. Stephen's background also includes work as a quantitative analyst at Outage, LLC, a software engineering intern at Walmart eCommerce, and a software test intern at Raytheon Technologies. Stephen holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is a former academic decathlon assistant coach at Bishop Alemany High School.
