Marco Eccettuato

Marco Eccettuato has extensive experience in the field of DevOps and platform engineering. Marco began their career at TopRight Group, where they served as a Lead Systems Administrator, responsible for the design, implementation, and management of the Puppet infrastructure for a Linux estate supporting multiple websites. Additionally, they worked on the migration and management of production instances, as well as configuration and replication of MySQL servers.

Following their time at TopRight Group, Marco held various roles at different companies. Marco worked as a Systems and Services Engineer at Thomas Cook Group, a Web Operations Engineer at PhotoBox, and a Senior Systems Administrator at Powa Technologies. Marco then joined 192.com as a Lead DevOps Engineer before moving on to Symphony.com as a Senior DevOps Engineer.

Marco's career continued to progress, and they took on the role of DevOps Manager at Pearson, where they managed DevOps operations for the company. Subsequently, they worked at Allianz Technology as a DevOps Architect and Senior Integration and Automation Specialist.

Most recently, Marco served as a DevOps Manager at Ascend Group before transitioning to their current position as the Head of Platform Engineering at Seven Peaks Software.

Marco Eccettuato obtained a Laurea degree in Computer Science from the University of Torino, where they studied from 1993 to 1998. Marco also holds a certification in ITIL version 3 Foundation Examination from EXIN, obtained in 2011.
