JJ Smith is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in operations and business development across various industries. As the CEO of Seven Stars Bakery since March 2024, JJ leads strategic initiatives and oversees company operations. Previously, JJ served as Chief Operations Officer at Wahlburgers, after progressing through multiple leadership roles including Senior Vice President of Operations & Development. Prior experience includes significant positions at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf®, where JJ held roles from Vice President of Franchise Operations & Business Development to Senior Director of Franchise Operations. JJ also contributed to Groom Construction Company, Inc. as Business Development Manager, and held operational leadership roles at b.good and Pinkberry. The career began at Dunkin Brands Inc. and included a strong foundation in sales management at TD Banknorth Garden. JJ holds a degree in Sport Management and Business Management from Elon University.
