Margaret Breed

Margaret Breed is an experienced professional in the field of special events and development operations, currently serving as the Director of Special Events at Park Avenue Armory since May 2024. Previously, Margaret held multiple roles at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, including Senior Manager of Development Operations Finance and Special Events Consultant from December 2021 to June 2024, and as Director of Special Events from September 2008 to November 2016. Earlier experience includes roles as Benefit Consultant and Director of Special Events at The Drama League, as well as Group & Event Sales Assistant at New York City Opera. Margaret's career began with teaching Italian at Bay Ridge Prep and serving as a University Ambassador at the University of St Andrews. Education includes a Master of Arts in Modern History and Italian from the University of St Andrews, along with additional studies at NYU School of Professional Studies.
