Kate Wherity

Kate Wherity is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as Finance Director at Severfield since May 2023, Kate previously held positions at Morrisons as Head of Finance for Online and Wholesale and at Marks and Spencer, where responsibilities included Head of Finance for Property and Senior Finance Manager roles in Menswear and Womenswear. Earlier experience includes serving as Financial Controller at Wolsey Limited and BLK DNM LLC and a period of travel following a role as Financial Controller and in various finance management positions at Arcadia Group Ltd. Kate began a career in finance as an Audit Executive at EY. Academic credentials include a degree from the University of Bristol.
