Dustin Washburn, BSN, RN has extensive work experience in both the healthcare industry and with the US Navy. Dustin began their career with the US Navy in 2008, serving as a Hospital Corpsman Second Class (HM2) and later as a Leading Petty Officer in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). During their time in the Navy, Dustin received advanced training in areas such as ACLS, PALS, and Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support, and they demonstrated proficiency in critical care skills such as IV medication administration, ECG and hemodynamic monitoring, and patient advocacy. In 2013, Dustin transitioned to a civilian role and joined Sevita as the Director of Nursing/Administrator at a high-acuity skilled nursing facility specializing in Brain and Spinal Cord Injury rehabilitation. In this role, they managed the daily operations of the facility and provided RN case management for complex patients, developing outcomes-driven treatment plans. In 2019, Dustin took on a new role at Sevita as the Director of Project Management and Clinical Outcomes, leading the implementation of clinical projects and initiatives across multiple states and care settings.

Dustin Washburn, BSN, RN obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Nursing Science from Point Loma Nazarene University. In 2016, they became a Registered Nurse (RN) certified by the California Board of Registered Nursing. In 2021, they received their Registered Nurse certification from the Nevada State Board of Nursing. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) from the Emergency Nurses Association. Dustin also holds various LinkedIn certifications related to project management in the healthcare field and has affiliations with the American Nurses Association.
