Lisa Murphy has extensive experience in the field of human resources and staff recruiting. Lisa began their career in 2000 at Jenkens & Gilchrist, where they held a role as a Human Resources professional responsible for employee relations, development, training, and recruiting. Lisa then moved to Nixon Peabody LLP in 2007, where they continued to oversee all aspects of recruiting, including sourcing, advertising, applicant tracking, interviewing, and hiring for both non-legal and legal positions. Lisa joined Bryan Cave in 2008 as a Human Resources Manager, where they managed HR functions, including staff recruitment, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws. In 2011, Lisa joined Seyfarth Shaw LLP, where they held various roles, including National Staff Recruiting Manager, National Sr. Manager of Staff Recruiting, and currently as the National Director of Staff Recruiting. In these positions, Lisa has been responsible for all recruiting and staffing functions for exempt and non-exempt non-legal positions, collaborating with hiring managers, developing recruiting plans, and leading the creation of interview plans for open positions.
Lisa Murphy received their Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Eastern Illinois University between 1986 and 1990.
