Sean Baumgarten is a seasoned environmental scientist with extensive experience at the San Francisco Estuary Institute since July 2012, holding various titles including Senior Scientist and Environmental Analyst. Prior to this role, Sean contributed as a Writing Consultant at the Communications Center - Bren School of Environmental Science & Management and completed an internship in natural resource planning with the Bureau of Land Management. Experience also includes serving as a Conservation Coordinator for the California Wilderness Coalition and a Teacher at St. Jarlath School. Sean holds a Master of Environmental Science and Management from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor's degree in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology from the University of California, Davis, along with a Preliminary Single Subject Teaching Credential from California State University, East Bay.
