Julian Zegelman is an experienced legal and compliance executive with a robust background in venture capital and corporate law. Currently serving as Partner, Chief Legal Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer at Sfermion since May 2022, Julian focuses on the non-fungible token ecosystem and investments in the metaverse. As General Partner at Step Ahead Capital since August 2020, Julian supports growth-stage tech companies. Previous roles include General Counsel and shareholder at FlashGrid Inc., Partner and General Counsel at Jaguar Capital Advisors, and various legal positions at InnovaSonic, TMT Investments PLC, and Velton Zegelman. Julian holds a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Political Science from UC San Diego.
