Fabian Schaller completed their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Humanmedizin from the University of Zurich, where they studied from 2003 to 2009. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications. In 2017, they obtained a FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine from FIFA. In 2015, they obtained a certification in Metabolische Knochenkrankheiten SVGO from the Schweizerische Vereinigung gegen Osteoporose. Finally, in 2014, they obtained a certification in Sportmedizin SGSM from the Schweizerische Gesellschaft für Sportmedizin.
