Michael Rudel

Michael Rudel has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michael began their career as a Network Technician at Pinckney Community Schools in 1997 and worked there until 2003. From 2003 to 2008, they owned Obsidian Hosting, a small web and online game hosting company.

In 2004, they joined Orbitz as a Senior UNIX Systems Administrator and worked there until 2006. Michael then joined Kaplan Professional as a Senior Linux Engineer, Team Lead from 2006 to 2007.

In 2007, they joined Information Resources, Inc as a Senior Systems Engineer and remained with the company until 2009. During this time, they designed and implemented a IBM Tivoli Single Sign-On solution and provided support for various databases and data warehousing appliances.

Michael then joined WMS Gaming in 2009 as a Principal Network Architect. Their responsibilities included network engineering, Cisco wireless administration, and support for VMWare private cloud infrastructure. Michael also provided on-site tradeshow support for marketing and sales teams. From 2011 to 2013, they served as the Senior Principal Manager, Network Gaming Systems at WMS Gaming, where they managed a small international team and implemented systems and networks for both production and non-production environments.

In 2013, Michael began working at Williams Interactive as the Senior Principal Engineer & Architect, responsible for architecting and building the physical infrastructure for the social product line. Michael later became the Director of Technical Operations for the company in 2014, leading the Infrastructure Engineering & Operations team. Michael oversaw various aspects of the infrastructure, including cloud infrastructure, network, storage, backups, monitoring, and application development tools.

Additionally, in 2014, Michael started their own business, Saint Lucia's, as the owner.
