Derek Neo serves as Deputy General Manager for both SG Growth Capital and SEEDS Capital, leading efforts in managing venture capital co-investments and fostering the growth of strategic deep-tech sectors, particularly in biomedical technologies and agrifood tech. With experience as a board observer for multiple innovative companies, including PedraTech and Vivance—both of which received US FDA "Breakthrough Device" designations—Derek contributes to advancements in medical technology. Prior roles include senior positions at Enterprise Singapore and consultancy work with The Economist Intelligence Unit and Baker Tilly International. Derek holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance & Operations Management and completed the Emerging Leaders Program at INSEAD.
