Rene Oostveen is an accomplished aviation professional with extensive experience in technical operations and management. Currently serving as Executive Director at SGI Aviation since March 2009, Rene oversees global operational planning and staff training. Previously, roles included Head of Operations, Operations Manager, Program Manager, and Technical Manager, all focused on aircraft management and maintenance projects. Prior experience at Martinair included Team Manager for Aircraft Maintenance and MD-11 Flight Test Engineer, among other positions. Rene's career began in the Royal Netherlands Air Force as a Non-commissioned Officer. Academic credentials include a postgraduate degree in Business Administration & Management, along with technical training in aviation technologies.
