Carlos Tomás Egea

Carlos Tomás Egea is an accomplished Project Director with extensive experience in civil engineering and railway infrastructure. Currently serving as a Project Director for the evaluation of the Tren Maya project at SGS since October 2014, Carlos has successfully managed multiple railway operations and projects, including significant responsibilities on the Tren México-Toluca. Previous roles include positions at CONSORCIO CONSTRUCTOR L3, GEOVITA S.A., and Infraestructures Generalitat Catalunya S.A.U, where Carlos managed complex projects from tendering to commissioning across various railway initiatives. Carlos began a career in civil engineering with a degree in Geological Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, accumulating considerable expertise in technical office engineering and project management.
