Cristiane de Oliveira

Cristiane de Oliveira is a Principal Investigator at SGS since October 2019, with prior experience as a Junior Principal Investigator at Thomas J. Stephens & Associates, Inc. and as a Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic, where research focused on the progression of acute pancreatitis and lipotoxicity. Previous roles include Postdoc Fellow at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, examining thermoregulation in systemic inflammation, and PhD student at UNIFESP, specializing in hormones and lipid metabolism in obesity. Cristiane also completed a PhD at the University of Liverpool in the Obesity Biology Unit. Educational credentials include a degree in Biomedical Science from UNIFESP and a Técnico em edificações from Instituto Tecnologico de Barueri.
