Jean Morin

Jean Morin has over 20 years of work experience in software development. Jean started their career as a system designer and software developer at Lévesque Beaubien Geoffrion, where they developed a client/server application for trading shares, stock options, and bonds. Jean then worked as a system designer and developer at Hydro-Quebec, where they used Visual Basic to develop software. Morin later worked as an analyst programmer at Lévesque Beaubien Geoffrion, where they were responsible for migrating applications from 16bits to 32bits. Jean then worked at Banque Nationale as a web developer, creating a transactional banking website. Morin joined Cognicase as a consultant and later worked at Microcell as a senior software developer, creating intranet applications for the human resources department. Jean then joined Bombardier Recreational Products, where they developed modules for B2B and B2C applications that communicated with SAP. Morin then worked at Momentis Systems as a senior software developer, creating multitier transactional internet and intranet applications using .NET (C#). Jean'snext role was at Keops Technologies, where they developed a software application for an aluminum smelter in Iceland. Morin's current role is as a lead software developer at SGS.

Jean Morin's education history includes a certification in MCSD for .NET from Microsoft, obtained from 2004 to 2005. In 2001, they also received a certification as a Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform from Sun Microsystems. Jean holds a college certification in Programmer Analyst from Marsan Informatique, completed from 1989 to 1990. In addition, they have obtained additional certifications such as the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PeopleCert in 2021, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate from Microsoft in 2021, and Xamarin Certified Mobile Developer from Xamarin University in December 2016.
