Loreto Saavedra

Loreto Saavedra has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. From 2023 onwards, they have held various roles at SGS, including Head of IT Global Governance & Processes, Head of IT Global Delivery Management Office, and Head of IT Global PMO. Prior to SGS, Loreto worked at IZERTIS as the Lead of Strategic Portfolio and Project Management, where they were responsible for establishing and managing a new Corporative Project Management Office. They also have experience at The Crown Estate, where they worked in IT Programme Management Office (PMO) and as a Data Room Controller - IT Agile Product Owner. In addition, they have worked at Meetup, MAGTEL Proyectos y Concesiones S.L., Stanley Park Ecology Society, Omicron-Amepro, S.A., and Estate Consulting S.L., where they held various roles related to project management, business analysis, and environmental consulting.

Loreto Saavedra's education history includes a variety of certifications and degrees. In 1996, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Marine Sciences from the University of Cadiz. In 2012, they received a Certificate of Advanced English (C1) from the British Institute. Loreto also pursued additional certifications, such as a Scrum Master Level 2 Certificate from Agilistix in 2015 and a Programa Liderando Proyectos Estratégicos from IESE Business School in 2021. Loreto has obtained various certifications in project management, agile methodologies, and environmental engineering management throughout the years.
