Michael Poltz

Michael Poltz has extensive work experience in the field of operational integrity and health, safety, and environmental management. Michael most recently served as the Vice President of Operational Integrity NAM at SGS since February 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a QHSE Management Consultant at Poltz Risk Solutions starting in August 2018. From 2014 to 2018, Poltz held various positions at Geokinetics Inc., including Vice President QHSE and HSE Manager, North America Operations. Before that, they were the HSE Operations Manager North America at CGG from 2009 to 2014. Poltz also served as a Director on the Board of Directors at ENFORM and the Canadian Association of Geophysical Contractors from 2010 to 2013. Michael started their career at CGGVeritas as the HSE Manager Canada from 2006 to 2008.

Michael Poltz received an Associate's degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University in 2022. Prior to that, they attended the University of Calgary from 1993 to 1996, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute, Data Science Math from Coursera, Financial Markets (with Honours) from Coursera Course Certificates, and Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) from BCRSP in 2009.
