Mustafa Temiz

Mustafa Temiz, B.Eng., M.B.A. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and industries. Mustafa is currently serving as the Vice President of Industrial Field Services for SGS in North America, where they have full P&L responsibility for the Canadian subsidiary. Prior to this role, they worked as the Vice President of Industrial Services for SGS Canada, leading the business line with 2,400 employees and 74 locations.

Before joining SGS, Mustafa launched their own consulting business, MT Ventures, where they served as a strategy consultant, advisory/non-executive board member, and angel investor. Mustafa provided expertise in business transformation, restructuring, and go-to-market strategies for mid-size companies in the professional services and fintech sectors. Mustafa also advised multiple startups in various industries.

Mustafa has also held management positions at DEKRA and Intertek. At DEKRA, they served as the Managing Director in Turkey, driving strategic planning and successful turnaround in the material testing and inspection business. At Intertek, they held several roles including Regional President/GM for Industrial Services in Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Georgia, where they integrated legacy businesses and post-acquisition activities. Mustafa also served as a Global Executive Committee Member for Technical Staffing Services and Moody International, leading subsidiaries and participating in strategic planning and business development.

Throughout their career, Mustafa has demonstrated strong leadership skills, delivering exceptional results in revenue growth, cost optimization, and operational efficiency. Mustafa has a proven track record of success in driving business transformation and turnaround, and has extensive experience in the testing, inspection, and certification industry.

Mustafa Temiz has a B.Eng. degree in Industrial Engineering from Cukurova University, which they obtained from 1994 to 1999. Mustafa had previously studied at Çukurova Elektrik Anadolu Teknik Lisesi from 1988 to 1993, where they obtained a degree in Electricity Technicien. Additionally, Mustafa Temiz has an M.B.A. degree in Executive M.B.A. from Sabanci University, which they completed from 2007 to 2008. Mustafa also holds several certifications, including Angel Investor from EBAN - European Business Angels Network (obtained in 2015), CE PED Auditor from Moody International Certification (obtained in 2008), OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor from Moody International Certification (obtained in 2004), and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor from Row Parker (obtained in 2001).
