Ruud Leijten

Ruud Leijten has a diverse work experience in various roles related to quality and safety management. Ruud currently works at SGS as a Lead Auditor and Product Manager, responsible for conducting certification audits for safety and quality management systems. Prior to that, they worked at Conformiso BV as an Organisational Advisor, assisting companies in solving issues related to quality, safety, and environmental management. Ruud also supported companies in maintaining their KAM certifications. Earlier in their career, they worked at Nedcon Groep as a Consultant, primarily focusing on certification processes and providing training courses. Ruud also served as a KAM Coordinator at Spitters and completed internships at Wärtsilä.

Ruud Leijten's education history includes a Middelbaar veiligheidskundige (MVK) degree from Avans University of Applied Sciences in 2011, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Integrale Veiligheid (Integrated Safety and Security Management) from the same university, obtained between 2006 and 2011. Ruud has also obtained various certifications, including Veiligheid voor Operationeel Leidinggevenden VCA VOL from Koninklijke PBNA in September 2022, Masterclass Safety Culture Ladder T4 / T5 from NEN in 2021, Lead Auditor ISO 45001 from DNV GL in 2020, NEN Safety Culture Ladder auditor training from NEN in 2018, and Lead Auditor Quality Management Systems / ISO 9001 from Lloyd's Register in 2014.
