Weiwei Sun

Weiwei (David) Sun is a seasoned standardization expert with extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as the Secretary of IEC TC 59 SC 59 N JWG 5 at the International Electrotechnical Commission since December 2018. Weiwei has also contributed to multiple committees within IEC, including SC 59/SC 59N and SC 59F/JWG5. Since January 2010, Weiwei has held several positions at SGS, including Innovation Team Head and Technical Expert, while also managing a branding customer project. Previous experience includes serving as Quality Manager at Emball'ISO and as an Electrical Design Engineer at Sullair Corporation. Weiwei holds a Doctorate in Management Science and Engineering from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and an MBA from Shanghai International Studies University, in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
