Anshul Verma

Anshul Verma is a Senior Data Scientist at SGS & Co, focusing on automating the printing press industry since January 2023. Previously, Anshul served as a Software Engineer at Amazon from August 2022 to January 2023, where a model hosting service for large language models was developed. Anshul's experience includes working as a Data Scientist at RetiSpec on Alzheimer's disease detection using hyperspectral retinal fundus images and contributing to various computer vision projects at Savormetrics. Teaching assistance roles were held at the University of Toronto, supporting ECE 221 during two academic terms. Earlier internships at Quazar Technologies involved building experimental setups to study fluid dynamics and engineering characteristics of materials. Anshul holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at the University of Toronto.
