Blake George

International Development Lead at SH:24

Blake George has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare industry. Blake started their career as a Physiotherapist at St Vincent's Hospital in 2012 and then worked as a Senior Physiotherapist at Liverpool Hospital from 2013 to 2014. At Liverpool Hospital, they led the Rapid Response Rehabilitation Team Project and was responsible for service planning, data analysis, and reporting. In 2015, Blake worked as a Locum Physiotherapist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and The Wellington Hospital. Blake then joined Mildmay Mission Hospital as the Lead Physiotherapist, where they developed and implemented a Physiotherapy Service focused on HIV care and treatment. In 2018, Blake transitioned to SH:24, where they initially served as a Business Development Manager and later became the International Development Lead. Overall, Blake has gained expertise in HIV care, physiotherapy service development, and project management within the healthcare sector.

Blake George completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) from the University of Sydney from 2008 to 2011. Following that, Blake pursued a Master of Health Administration from Monash University between 2014 and 2017.
