Prakash Chaudhari

Prakash Chaudhari is an accomplished professional in the steel industry with over 28 years of experience. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Jindal Shadeed Iron and Steel since August 2023, Prakash has significantly increased EBITDA from $200M to $350M through strategic initiatives and advanced operational improvements. Previous roles include AVP and Head of Steel, RM & LDP at Jindal Shadeed Iron & Steel LLC, where a production milestone of 211,000 tons in a month was achieved, and General Manager at Jindal Shadeed Iron and Steel, overseeing steel production processes and enhancing efficiency. Prakash has also contributed to SULB Steel Company and Jindal Steel & Power Ltd., implementing impactful changes that improved production and reduced defects. Educationally, Prakash holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgy from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela.
