Pritesh Patel

Pritesh Patel has extensive experience in mechanical maintenance and engineering roles within the steel industry, currently serving as Assistant General Manager at Jindal Shadeed Iron and Steel since November 2010. Responsibilities include leading a team to address project activities, implementing preventive maintenance, and planning maintenance jobs across various facilities. Prior to this role, Pritesh worked as a Commissioning Engineer at Essar Steel, where duties involved equipment erection and maintenance in DRI plants, and as Mechanical Maintenance Area In-charge at Shadeed Iron & Steel LLC, contributing to the commissioning of a steel plant in Oman. An earlier tenure as Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at Essar Steel encompassed planning and maintenance for major iron plants. Pritesh holds an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering from SVPES, Bardoli, earned between 1999 and 2002.
