Ben Baber

Ben Baber is an experienced college minister currently serving at Shades Mountain Baptist Church since October 2021. Prior to this, Ben held various roles at The Summit Church, including Student Director and North American Church Planting and Leadership Development Apprentice from August 2018 to October 2021. Ben also gained valuable experience as an Assistant for Institutional Research and Faculty Support at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and as a Pastoral Intern at Emmanual Baptist Church. Earlier in their career, Ben worked as a Financial Analyst at Alabama Power Company and served as a Student Assistant in the Office of the Board of Trustees at Auburn University. Ben holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity degree from the same institution, and dual bachelor's degrees in Industrial & Systems Engineering and Economics from Auburn University.
