Michelle Leirer (She/Her)

Michelle Leirer has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Michelle started their career in 2008 as a 6th Grade Reading and Language Arts Teacher at Teach For America. After that, they worked as an Office Manager and Recruiting Coordinator at Slide, where they managed workplace facilities and assisted with recruiting and HR duties.

In 2010, Michelle joined Eventbrite as a Recruiter, later transitioning to the role of HR Generalist and eventually becoming a Global HR Business Partner. During their time at Eventbrite, they gained experience in various HR functions and responsibilities.

In 2015, Michelle joined Animoto as the Head of People, responsible for supporting employees and creating an environment for personal and professional growth. Michelle later became the VP of People, leading a People team dedicated to celebrating employee uniqueness and fostering a values-driven and inclusive work culture.

Most recently, Michelle served as the VP of People at Seesaw Learning, an educational platform that encourages student engagement and creativity in the learning process.

Throughout their career, Michelle has demonstrated their passion for supporting employees, fostering positive work environments, and promoting learning and growth.

Michelle Leirer (She/Her) obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Social Science, Psychology from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Michelle attended the university from 2004 to 2008. In 2017, Michelle enrolled in the Co-Active Coaching Certification Program at the Co-Active Training Institute. Michelle'seducation in this field is still ongoing as there is no end date mentioned. Additionally, they earned a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in April 2014.
