Adriel Martins

Adriel Martins has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and engineering. Adriel currently holds the position of Machine Learning Engineer at Shake, starting in August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Scientist at BTG Pactual from September 2021 to August 2022. Before that, Adriel worked as a Data Engineer at Oncase from January 2021 to September 2021. Adriel also has experience as a Data Scientist at Navalport from August 2020 to October 2020, where they were responsible for extracting and processing navigational and harbor data using R and SQL. Additionally, they worked as a Risk and Modelling Analyst at Universidade Federal de Pernambuco from January 2020 to October 2020. Adriel started their career as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at CNPq - Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico from August 2019 to September 2020, where they researched statistical methods in the field of Spatial Statistics. Adriel also worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Universidade Federal de Pernambuco from August 2018 to July 2019, assisting in Probability 4 and Introduction to Statistics courses.

Adriel Martins completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Statistics from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco from 2017 to 2021. Adriel then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at the Universidade Federal do Paraná from 2023 to 2025. In addition to their formal education, Adriel obtained a certification in Computer Vision from Udacity in March 2022.
