Daniel Kauchick

Daniel Kauchick is an experienced education professional currently serving as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator for the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community since October 2022. Previously, Daniel worked as a teacher for Lakeville Area Public Schools ISD 194, where responsibilities included shifting curriculum to fully distance learning and piloting a new interactive textbook. Daniel also taught as an itinerant Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for Independent School District 196, focusing on creating supportive learning environments using ASL. Prior experience includes teaching middle school social studies at Metro Deaf School and serving as an educational interpreter. Daniel holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master's in Deaf Education from Rochester Institute of Technology, alongside certifications in Power Vinyasa Yoga.
