Dr. Mike Redmond is the Superintendent for Shakopee Public Schools.
He has served in the role of Superintendent in Shakopee since November 1, 2018.
Previously, he served as the Superintendent for Goodhue Public Schools in Goodhue, Minnesota for five years, was the Executive Director of Secondary Education for Stillwater Area Public Schools, served as principal of John Glenn Middle School in Maplewood, Minnesota, was assistant principal for North High School in North St. Paul and prior to that, a social studies teacher, girls soccer coach and boys basketball coach for Mahtomedi High School.
Dr. Redmond is an active member of the Minnesota Association of School Administrators (MASA) as well as the Association of Metropolitan School Districts (AMSD). Dr. Redmond is also an adjunct professor for Winona State.
