Hemal Savla

Hemal Savla has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Hemal is currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at Shalina Healthcare, a top pharmaceutical company in Africa. In this role, they lead the global IT function and oversees a Center of Excellence based in Mumbai.

Prior to their current position, Hemal held the position of Chief Information Officer at RR Kabel Limited, where they were responsible for driving technology and digital transformation initiatives across multiple business units.

Hemal also has experience working at KATERRA, where they served as the Vice President of IT for Asia and the Middle East. In addition to leading a team of IT professionals, they were also responsible for head of the Global Delivery Center, providing shared services to global entities.

Earlier in their career, Hemal held several leadership positions including Head of IT for Africa and the Middle East at Godrej Consumer Products Ltd and Senior IT Manager at Johnson & Johnson Medical. Hemal also worked at Philips Electronics India Ltd as a Senior Manager, implementing global IT initiatives in India.

Hemal began their career as a Customer Support Engineer at HCL Frontline Ltd.

Hemal Savla earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from the University of Mumbai from 1991 to 1995. From 2001 to 2003, Savla obtained a Masters Diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies.
