Teal Pennebaker

Teal Pennebaker is a communications professional with extensive experience in leadership, strategic communications, and education. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Managing Director of Shallot Communications since October 2022, Teal Pennebaker supports executives in enhancing their communication skills. Concurrently, Teal Pennebaker is a Lecturer at the Texas McCombs School of Business. Previous roles include Chief Communications Officer at Capsule and Chief of Staff at Amazon, where responsibilities included managing communications priorities and organizational strategies. Teal Pennebaker also held positions at The World Bank, Planned Parenthood, and Stanford Health Policy, contributing to various initiatives through writing, consulting, and strategy development. Teal Pennebaker earned a Master's degree in Public Policy from Harvard University and a Bachelor's degree in American Studies from Wellesley College.
