Javier Jose Maymi Aia

Javier Jose Maymi, AIA, is an experienced architect currently serving as an Associate Architect at Shalom Baranes Associates since August 2014, and previously worked at Cooper, Robertson & Partners from July 2008 to July 2014. Javier has a diverse portfolio, encompassing high-end residential projects and involvement in schematic design through construction administration. Prior to these roles, experience includes serving as an Assistant in the Office of the Department of Residence Halls at the University of Miami and a Summer Intern Architect and Urban Designer at Robert A.M. Stern Architects, where work included developing Urban Design Guidelines for Brooklyn Bridge Park. Javier holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree in Architecture and Urban Design from the University of Miami, complemented by academic experience at the American Military Academy and a summer program at Cornell University.
