Amy Chamberlain

Amy Chamberlain is an experienced copy editor and proofreader with a robust background in various publishing sectors. Since 2017, Amy has worked at Taproot Magazine, contributing to an ad-free print magazine focused on food, farm, family, and craft. Concurrently, Amy has been involved with Shambhala Publications since 2007, editing nonfiction books on topics such as Buddhism and healthy living. Other notable roles include proofreading for Advocate Media's Maine Home+Design magazine, as well as self-published nonfiction projects. Amy has worked with numerous publishing houses, including The Experiment Publishing and Stylus Publishing, and has experience in quality assurance for eBooks. Amy's academic credentials include a BA in Classics from Colby College, along with additional educational experiences at Cornell University and through the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association.
