Matthew Secor

Matthew Secor has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Matthew began their career as a Software Engineer at IBM/Informix Software in 1997, where they worked until 2003. From 2003 to 2012, they served as a Lead Database Developer at Thomson Reuters/Reuters. In 2012, Matthew joined Chopper Trading, LLC as a Database Administrator/Database Developer, and they stayed there until 2014. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Elecsys Corporation as a Database Architect/Developer/Administrator. Matthew then transitioned to The University of Kansas Health System, where they held the role of Data Engineer Manager from 2018 to 2021. In 2021, they joined Affirma as a Senior Data Engineer and later joined Sun Communities & Sun Outdoors in 2022 in the same role. Currently, Matthew is the Manager of Data Engineering at Shamrock Trading Corporation, a position they have held since 2023. Additionally, throughout their career, they have also served as an Adjunct Professor at Johnson County Community College and Saint Louis University, from 2016 to 2022 and 2017 to 2022, respectively.

Matthew Secor attended Kansas State University from 1993 to 1996, where they studied Civil Engineering. In 2001, they enrolled at MidAmerica Nazarene University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Information Systems in 2002. Additionally, Matthew Secor has the experience of attending Johnson County Community College, although the duration and field of study are unknown.
