Daniel K. Delk, Jr. is the Deputy Principal Officer at the U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai. A member of the Foreign Service since 2004, Daniel most recently led the Political Section of the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan. In addition to multiple Washington-based East Asia policy and crisis management positions, he has served in Beijing, Taipei, and Guayaquil, Ecuador. Daniel earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Spanish from Morehouse College and a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
