David Zhang

David Zhang is currently serving as the Secretary-General of the International Intelligent Transportation Technology Association since April 2024 and as the Director of the Vodafone International Cooperation Research Center for Digital Vehicles at the World Digital Economy Forum since June 2022. Zhang holds various academic positions, including guest professor at Huanggang Vocational and Technical College and Huanghe Science and Technology College. Additionally, Zhang is an international advisor for the Politecnico di Torino and leads the New Energy Vehicles Research Institute at Jiangxi New Energy Technology Vocational College. With a background in marine engineering from Wuhan University of Technology, Zhang has significantly contributed to the automotive industry through research, media engagement, and educational initiatives, as well as founding David Talks Cars Media.
