JohnRoss Woodland currently serves as Executive Chef at Shangri-La Group since October 2022. Prior to this role, JohnRoss was the Lead Instructor at Rooks to Cooks for a brief period in 2022 and held positions at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts from August 2018 to July 2022, where achievements included earning a Forbes 5-star rating and winning the Leader of the Quarter award twice. JohnRoss's culinary experience also includes ownership of Noble Bistro Oakville, where profitability was achieved within two years and multiple locations were opened, as well as serving as Executive Chef at Tu Casa Fine Dining, where sales increased by 17% annually. JohnRoss holds a degree from Johnson & Wales University, earned between 2007 and 2011.
