Nolan Orfield

Nolan Orfield began their career in 2004 as the Founder and President of Clear Estimates, Inc., providing industry-leading software for the residential construction market. In 2005, they took on a role as an IT Instructor at the National Vocational Training Institute. In 2009, they became a Researcher at the University of Michigan Center for Sustainable Systems and Co-founder and CTO of ReGenerate Solutions. In 2012, they Co-founded Aquaro Biosystems and served as Engineering Manager. Finally, in 2016, they Co-founded ShapeLog and served as an Innovation Fellow, developing innovative technologies for the fitness industry.

Nolan Orfield obtained their BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 2003. Nolan then went on to pursue a MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, which they completed in 2011. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Resource Policy & Behavior from the University of Michigan in 2013.
