Daniel Roach-Rooke

Daniel Roach-Rooke has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Daniel currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Shaping Cloud since January 2023. Prior to this, they were the Director of Professional Services at Shaping Cloud from January 2020 to December 2022. Before joining Shaping Cloud, they worked as the Principal Consultant at the same company from August 2018 to December 2019.

Earlier in their career, Daniel was the Head Of Infrastructure / Technical Delivery at Buckinghamshire County Council from October 2017 to July 2018. Daniel also held the position of Head of IT Enterprise Operations at Telegraph Media Group from February 2016 to August 2017.

Before that, they served as the Group Head of IT at FirstPort (UK) from June 2014 to February 2016 and as the IT Infrastructure Manager at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd from January 2010 to June 2014.

Daniel Roach-Rooke also has experience working in Merz Pharma UK as the IT & Communications Manager from October 2008 to January 2010, as the European Infrastructure Lead at Bong Ljungdahl Sverige AB from June 2006 to November 2008, and as the IT Manager at Bong UK Limited from March 1999 to June 2006.

Daniel began their professional journey as an IT Infrastructure Technician at Leekes from June 1996 to March 1999 and started their career as an IT Intern at Zurich Municipal Insurance from June 1994 to October 1995.

Daniel Roach-Rooke graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Business Information Systems from the University of Portsmouth in 1996.
