Abdul Azeem Shaik

Abdul Azeem Shaik is a software engineer specializing in blockchain and distributed systems, currently working at Shardeum since August 2022. Abdul's work includes designing a scalable node monitoring system capable of handling 10,000 requests per second as part of a bachelor's thesis under the supervision of CTO Omar Syed and Professor Dr. Pratyush Chakraborty. Concurrently, Abdul contributes to Shardus, the distributed ledger technology that powers Shardeum, focusing on EVM compatibility and scalability. Prior to this, Abdul conducted research at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where significant projects included developing AI-based market intelligence systems and investigating security issues on low-cost Android devices. Abdul holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
