Oliver Weaver has worked in a variety of roles since 2017. Oliver began their career at the University of Exeter Students' Guild as a Student Staff and Brand Ambassador and a Shadow Councillor. In 2018, they worked as a Telephone Fundraiser for the University of Exeter and also founded and served as President of the West Country Society. In 2019, they interned at the Embassy of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in the Political Section/Ambassador's Office and at the Permanent Mission of Afghanistan to the United Nations. In 2021, they worked as a Selling Partner and Selling Partner (Ralph Lauren) at John Lewis & Partners and as a Research Volunteer at Action on Armed Violence. Oliver currently works as an Insights Analyst at Capture Intelligence and SHARE Creative.

Oliver Weaver began their educational journey in 2008 at Beaminster School, where they attended until 2013. Oliver then attended Weymouth College from 2013 to 2014, where they studied Multimedia Graphics Design and Production and gained limited coding experience. From 2014 to 2016, they attended Thomas Hardye School and Sixth Form and studied Philosophy, Politics and Theirtory. From 2016 to 2019, they attended the University of Exeter and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Middle East Studies. In 2019, they attended the University of Winchester and obtained a Reconciliation and Peacebuilding Training certification. Finally, in 2020, they began their MSc Defence, Development and Diplomacy at Durham University.
