Shawn Dixon

Shawn Dixon, PHR, SHRM-CP, is an experienced HR professional currently serving as Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition at Share Our Strength since May 2022. Prior to this role, Shawn held various positions including Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Generalist at Coppin State University, with responsibilities in recruitment, new hire orientation, and advising hiring managers. Additional experience includes contract positions as a Corporate Recruiter at Allegis Group and Ciena, and roles at Robert Half and USRA focusing on full lifecycle recruitment. Shawn also contributed to human resources functions at Stanley Black & Decker, the District of Columbia Government, DC Public Schools, and the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Organizational Management/HR Management from Trinity Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Health Education/Community Health from Morgan State University.
