Andrew Kostousov

Andrew Kostousov is a Principal Software Engineer at ShareChat since July 2022, leading the development of Hamsa, an in-house vector search platform for machine learning teams and services. Prior to this role, Andrew served as a Principal Software Engineer at СКБ Контур from September 2005 to December 2022, contributing to projects such as Vektonn and Kontur. Andrew also held positions as Lead Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, notably working on the Diadoc project from 2010 to 2015. Andrew holds a PhD in mathematical simulation, numerical methods, and software engineering from Ural State University named after A.M. Gorky, where a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science was also obtained.
