Vikas Gupta

Vikas Gupta is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in leading software development projects and optimizing processes. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager and Technical Lead at ShareChat since July 2022, Vikas previously held the position of Principal Engineer at CaaStle from July 2018 to June 2022, where a notable achievement included the design of a scalable event infrastructure using Kafka and a 35% reduction in batch processing ETL job execution times. Prior to this, Vikas was a Senior Software Engineer at Gwynnie Bee from July 2014 to June 2018, leading the development of a personalized home page that significantly enhanced user engagement metrics, and contributing to the integration of Bazaarvoice APIs through the development of Java-based REST APIs. Vikas holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from Punjab Engineering College, earned between 2012 and 2014.
