Director, Operations at Shared Assessments

Sarah Ivie has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Sarah'smost recent position is as the Director of Operations at Shared Assessments, a role they have held since 2022.

Prior to their current role, they worked at the Texas Restaurant Association from 2011 to 2022, where they held multiple roles. Sarah started as a Conference Manager, overseeing housing, registration, and educational programming for the association's tradeshow. Before their time at the Texas PTA, Sarah worked as a Principal HR Administrative Assistant at Emerson Process Management from 2005 to 2007. Sarah'sresponsibilities included providing overall support to HR services and managing confidential processes and information.

Sarah also has experience in the retail industry, having worked at Taylor Books from 2000 to 2005 as a Periodicals Manager. In this role, they supervised the periodical inventory, facilitated management processes, and provided direct customer service.

In addition, Sarah worked at the Center for Excellence in Disabilities-Higher Education from 2003 to 2004 as a Project Coordinator, supporting a statewide program and creating a memoir-style writing workshop for foster care youth.

Sarah'searly experience includes working as a JCAHO Coordinator at Thomas Memorial Hospital from 2002 to 2003.

Overall, Sarah Ivie has demonstrated a breadth of skills and experiences in project management, technology implementation, customer service, HR support, and program coordination.

Sarah Ivie earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from West Virginia State University in 1997. Sarah then went on to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Humanities at Marshall University, completing their studies in 2004.
