Angus Watson

Angus Watson is an experienced finance and investment professional currently serving as the Investments Lead at Sharesies since May 2020, having previously held roles such as Head of New Investments and Funds Management, Head of Investments, and Investments Manager. Prior to Sharesies, Angus worked as an Investor Relations Analyst at Contact Energy Ltd from February 2019 to May 2020 and accumulated experience at Meridian Energy as an Energy Modelling Analyst, Energy Research Analyst, and Wind Engineer from May 2015 to January 2019. Angus began the professional career in the avionics team at Altitude Aerospace Interiors Ltd. in late 2012. Angus holds an Engineer's Degree in Mechatronics from the University of Canterbury and a Diploma of Investor Relations from the Australasian Investor Relations Association, obtained in 2019. Education was completed at Whanganui Collegiate School from 2005 to 2009.
