Simon Carr is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business transformation and consulting. Presently serving as a Business Transformation Coach at Sharing In Growth UK Limited since May 2022, Simon previously held leadership roles at Industry Forum from January 2012 to April 2023, where responsibilities included General Manager for Diverse Sectors and Sector Manager. Prior experience includes a Senior Consultant position at Simpler Consulting, focusing on lean transformation from December 2005 to December 2011, as well as a Senior Consultant role at Bourton Group from March 1999 to December 2004, where process improvement methods were developed and delivered. Simon's career began at SMMT Industry Forum as a Senior Engineer, where foundational skills in lean methods were acquired under Japanese Master Engineers. Simon holds a Master of Engineering in Materials Engineering from the University of Birmingham, earned between 1986 and 1990.
